INFO ON THE ARTIST AND HISTORY OF WORKS

Artista Amleto Dalla Costa nello stile dell'Amleto

Hamlet's Bio

Amleto Dalla Costa was born in Milan in 1929 and recently passed away in 2024.

A multifaceted artist, painter, designer and sculptor, Amleto Dalla Costa is the interpreter of a style in which style and construction are reduced to the minimum terms. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and, among other numerous activities, participated in the 51st Venice Biennale, with the Temperaturambiente group. The same year he exhibited at the "Exposition des Italiens peintre à Paris", with the works cataloged in the "LEI" edition.

In 2006 he was assistant of the Archeoclub on the island of Lazzaretto Novo in the Venice Lagoon. In 2010 he followed the hypermedia museum direction of the installation of the large exhibition "Mattia Bortoloni, Piazzetta, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo: the 18th century Veneto" at the Palazzo dei Querceti in Rovigo", in collaboration with Vittorio Sgarbi, with whom he won the 1st prize Mediastars.
